Thrilled to say Legendary J.H Hartnet #masterwoodworker paid a visit to our studio today, exciting plans for #2019

There is something about Floating and detachedness that we love to create when we can, we spent a day head scratching to be able to create this detail in the design phase enabling us to make what we love Technically and proportionally.

Detail shot of Nafisi’s 10 seater Sussex dining table top, you can find our signature joint in the middle of the table using no adhesive, built for private client made of American Oak&Walnut, The Oak has been carefully chosen from our exciting wood stock where we keep the wood in a home temperature and been re selected to match both sides of the table surface to achieve the highest level of harmony in terms of the grain and colour temperature.
Walnut supplied by @englishwoodlandstimber which proved the best quality timer and stunning grain, very pleased.

The legs of the table are ready, will leave them in a safe corner of the studio to get on with the rest of the piece.

When Charles Rolls And Henry Royce started their business they had a dream of high end quality, in 1970 Mulliner Park Ward built the breathtaking Corniche model all hand made! My point is that this Beautifully designed and London built shoulder plane was on their tool board as an inspiration and major of what a quality made piece should stand for.

The main skill that has grown and sharpened over the years has been patience.
